Why I created Nurture Movement

Life after 50 should feel expansive, not limited. I’ve helped clients go from struggling to stand without pain to chasing grandchildren around the garden. And I’ve lived the same journey myself – from chronic pain to strength I can trust. My mission is simple: to make sure you never feel left behind, and to give you the confidence to keep living fully.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 26 years Pilates experience
  • Level 3 qualified Pilates teacher with Body Control® Pilates (one of the world’s most well-known and respected training academy’s)
  • Level 5 Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist – qualifying with the prestigious North London School of Sports Massage®
  • The ‘Go-To’ Physio® – an internationally renowned mentorship for rehabilitation skills in exercise and manual therapy.
  • Expertise in working with fascia – the body’s connective tissue
  • Back care professional (Back4Good® practitioner)
  • Pilates for Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
  • Pilates for Children and Adolescents

As a teacher of movement Sharron’s mission is to help and enlighten people towards a respect and appreciation for their awesome body no matter what the starting point.

Exploring how we can find our vitality and presence through both movement and manual therapy has led Sharron to study with Anatomy Trains® and Anatomy Trains in Motion®, which is fascia (the body’s connective tissue) and biomechanics focused.

She is also part of The ‘Go-To’ Physio® mentorship, which has advanced her skills in the clinical rehabilitation process in solving chronic pain problems to deliver lasting results.

I confess that I’d lost trust in my body. Now I feel steady again, and I’m not afraid of movement. I cannot thank you enough. Plus, I'm super proud of what I've managed to achieve because I now have hope again.

This program is designed for people in their 50s, 60s and beyond who want to rebuild strength without generic exercise sheets. Weekly sessions keep you progressing, daily short practices stack up quick wins, and accountability makes sure you never go it alone. In just weeks, you’ll notice changes in walking, climbing stairs, and everyday confidence.

I used to dread long walks because I knew I’d be the one slowing everyone down. Now I can keep up and enjoy walking with my family.

Small Group Pilates and Personalised Training

Build Everyday Strength and Steadiness

Pilates sessions are taught in SMALL GROUPS. Including Mat Pilates and bespoke Pilates Strength Training.

Intimate 5-person studio sessions, these classes are about more than core work. We’ll use resistance equipment, weights, and functional movements to target strength and balance where you need it most. No burpees, no bootcamp, just smart training that keeps your body ready for everyday challenges.

I didn’t want a big gym, I wanted something that felt safe, personal and with people like me. In these small sessions, I can feel my legs and balance getting stronger every week.
